Characterization of liquid crystal spatial light modulators using digital holographic microscopy

Abstract

We propose a new technique to characterize liquid crystal devices by use of digital holographic microscopy. The complex-modulated wavefront of liquid crystal spatial light modulator are measured directly from the reconstructed field of digital holograms.
