Abstract

Quite a number of chalcogen-containing iron carbonyl clusters have been synthesized and structurally characterized, and the interesting structural transformations and reactivities of these clusters have been systematically investigated as well. In this short review, we would like to describe the recent developments on iron carbonyl incorporated chalcogen atom (E = Te, Se, S) clusters in our laboratory and will focus on the systematic synthesis, reactivity, and cluster growth in this exciting system.
