Abstract

A facile and efficient one-pot synthesis of high yields of polyhydroquinoline derivatives at ambient temperature using Ceric Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) as catalyst via the Hantzsch reaction was reported. The process is simple and environmentally benign and the catalyst is commercially available and inexpensive.
