Abstract

Anisotropic electronic structure of in-plane aligned a-axis YBa 2Cu3O7-δ thin films was discussed. Polarization-dependent X-ray absorption near-edge spectra (XANES) was measured. It was found that doping and temperature dependent XANES can help in the study of high-Tc cuprates.
