Abstract

The objective of this paper is to propose an analytical approach for the paint messages among multiple C++/CLI controls (e.g., concentric picture boxes). The analytical tasks involve the use of a series of modal dialogs, to consecutively explore the cause and effect of handling those messages. Moreover, with the different ways of retrieving graphics objects, the order of allocating the controls determines the sequence of occurrences of those messages. The experimental results show that this approach is useful to support the efficient GUI designs, with the paint messages and their processing.
