N2 - For an efficient self-learning platform, we have developed Android programming learning assistance system (APLAS). APLAS offers a variety of assignments composed of multiple tasks to covering a wide range of topics in Android programming. For each task, a student needs to complete the source-codes of Java, Kotlin, and XML that will pass the tests by the given test codes from the teacher on the server. The student can repeat modifications and testing of answer codes until reaching the correct ones. However, the current implementation of APLAS allows the teacher to see only the final results of the students. In this paper, we implement the solving activity monitoring function so that the teacher can check the current number of completed assignments, the time to solve them, and the number of answer submissions for each student at the web browser. For the evaluation, we asked 32 students in the Information Technology department, State University of Makassar, Indonesia, to solve tasks in each of the two learning topics at APLAS. The function found that they completed the tasks in 262min. for Basic User Interface (UI) learning topic and in 317min. for Basic Activity learning topic by submitting the answer files twice on average.
