Abstract

Reactions of nitro olefin 1 with silyl enol ether 2 in the presence of TiCl4 in CH2Cl2 at 0°C gave high yields of hydroximoyl chloride 3. When the hydroximoyl chloride 3 was treated with Et3N in the presence of dipolarophile, the corresponding 2-isoxazolines were obtained.
