Abstract

Constructivists are optimistic about hypermedia learning since its structure of knowledge is constructed and expanded in a similar way as done by human beings. Several literatures revealed various factors in affecting the hypermedia learning, and foster the discussion of how to design a hypermedia learning system to meet the need of a learner with various individual profiles, especial for different level of competence. Based on the literature review, the design concept of alignment in the hypermedia learning system are proposed to serve as an additional multifaceted description of instruction design method for hypermedia learning.
