Abstract

An adaptive incremental sliding mode control (AISMC) is proposed in this paper to control a linear permanent magnet iron core synchronous motor(LPMICSM) to achieve high precision tracking control and chattering reduction. Different from SMC, the ISMC considers previous control action when designing. The advantage of ISMC is reduction of the chattering phenomenon which usually occurs when using SMC. The adaptive control is used to observe and compensate system uncertainties and external disturbances instantly. The experiment results show that AISMC had better performances and smaller chattering phenomenon than tradition SMC.
