Abstract

Currently, the IEEE 802.11n wireless local-area network (WLAN) has been broadly deployed world-wide due to flexibility, low costs, and high-speed transmissions. Since the limited number of partially overlapping channels (POCs) is available there, the optimal channel assignment to access-points (APs) is important to improve the performance of WLAN, particularly for usage of the channel bonding. In this paper, we propose the throughput drop estimation model for interferences of concurrent communications of two interfered links with POCs from extensive measurements under a variety of conditions.
