Abstract

Destination management organizations' official websites have become one of major sources for people to search tourist information and plan their trips. In contrast with that, destination management organizations rarely adapted Web log data from their official websites as tools for making management strategies. This research proposed a destination management perspective on meanings, applications and strategic levels of Web log data. As the result of that, the research will help destination management organizations more efficiently apply Web log data as indicator to understand website visitors' information search behaviors and evaluate their official website performances for better management.
