Abstract
Japonica bella Hsu, NEW SPECIES, is described and illustrated based on material from Guizhou Province, southwestern China. The new species has an unusual brachium and papilla analis, both are unique to the genus Japonica and the rest of Theclini species and considered autopomorphies of J. bella. The discovery of the new species brings the number of species in genus Japonica to five.
