Abstract

The present study was performed to determine the effect of yeast RNA on the synthesis of muscular protein in mouth breeder.There were 60 male fish allotted into four groups with 15 in each, chosen by random. Group I was used as the control, while the other three groups (II, III, IV) were injected respectively with 6, 8, and 10 mg of yeast RNA, The contents of muscular protein was measured by Kjeldahl micrn-method on the seventy-second hours after injection.The results revealed that the muscular protein contents of fish from the experimental groups II, III, and IV, were 34.07%, 54.87%, and 84.50 % higher respectively than those in the control group.
