Abstract

Ding Ling (1904-1986)'s ”Sha-Fei Lady's Diary” had published since 1928 by ”Novel -Monthly newspaper” 19curls 2, because the connotation of work had the profound contemporary and social significance, after a publication it caused the shock in literary arena and established Ding ling's literary status as a feminine literature writer. This article plans to inquire into the expression Sha-Fei's desire of love through three stratification: ”look for the woman”, ”deconstruct the paternity” and ”write self”. In the process of discussion, we may discover a fact which is the interlocked elaboration penetrate between the consciousness of monologue and gendered power, and the gendered writing become a shifting, displacing and regenerating process of the successional myth of ”the imagination of desire of love”. Being as for the whole, in the process which Sha-Fei looks for love and happiness, no doubt she is unable to obtain truly the speaking power and subjectivity in the self-localization. But in the process, which is the symbolic system of deconstructing the paternity, we saw at least Sha-Fei has represented the era-new woman's aware consciousness and concrete practice. That is on duty affirmed. It is worth to give the praise.
