As one of the most important human-machine interfaces in the next generation of smart consumer electronics, the gaze tracking system aims at analyzing the user point of interests as well as their intentions. The project aims to develop the chips as well as their software systems. The direction of the human head will be estimated in the first stage. Then the locations of eyes will be determined. The eye images should be enhanced first to make the eye model match reliably. In order to improve the quality, there is a need to develop a comprehensive algorithm/chip to determine the final gaze locations from a set of eye model matching results.
