素養導向輔導諮商專業之教與學：師資培育職前教育探究與專業素養量表建構

Competency-oriented Teaching and Learning in Guidance and Counseling: Exploration of Curriculum Planning and Instructional Strategies in Teacher Education and Construction of Professional Competency Questionnaire The research aims to investigate student guidance counselors' competency by conducting Guidance Counselor Professional Competency Questionnaire. This research utilizes pragmatism as the research paradigm and employs a mixed methods approach. Specifically, multiphase mixed methods as the research design. The researcher collected qualitative and quantitative data. The study will recruit three populations: experts and learners (student teachers). The first year will form the Guidance Counselor Professional Competency Questionnaire (GCPCQ) and pre-test version of the GCPCQ. MOE Teacher Professional Competencies will be the theoretical foundation of the GCPCQ. Then, six to eight experienced counseling educators and scholars will be considered experts in this research and be invited to attend focused group interviews, which provides the content description for the GCPCQ. In the second year, guidance counselors from all secondary schools in Taiwan are invited to conduct a pre-test and formal survey of the guidance counselor’s professional competency questionnaire. 319 guidance counselors from all secondary schools are invited to fill in the pre-test questionnaire, followed by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Then 226 guidance counselors from all secondary schools are invited to fill in the formal questionnaire. This two-year research project will be hoping that the student teachers specializing in guidance counselors' learning will be presented. Additionally, the findings will serve as the foundation of guidance counselors' training to enhance and continuously develop the next generation of guidance counselors' professional competencies. Finally, recommendations for guidance counselor training and education and the direction for future research will be provided.
