Description

The KPIs of the Alliance this year, including the number of members and income, have reached the goals. Since its establishment, the alliance has held 22 promotional activities to popularize its products and services, seeking opportunities for collaboration with industry vendors. These activities include a booth exhibition in Chunghwa Telecom Smart Education Exhibition, eight promotional visits to companies such as United Daily News, and a promotional visit to governmental units, as well as twelve campus promotions. The alliance will hold a Reading Power Competition in December this year, inviting primary and secondary schools nationwide to participate in the SmartReading platform. By offering short-term free trials to the students participating in the competition and to their teachers, the competition is expected to enhance the popularity of the alliance's products and services. Additionally, such competitions can raise reading value in the society and cultivate self-disciplined, voluntary reading habits. Moreover, by expanding the potential customer base of the alliance, the competition has the effect of attracting more industry vendors to join the alliance. Industry members of the alliance are classified into two types—free members and fee-based members. Free members can enjoy professional consulting services for SmartReading-related products. In addition to the rights of free members, fee-based members have access to the technical services of the SmartReading technology. The professional consulting service provides visits to the company, instructions on SmartReading technology, and telephone consultation, et cetera. So far, the alliance has handled 41 persons in the free-member mode, helping them to familiarize themselves with the unique technical characteristics of SmartReading platform as quickly as possible. Through technical service, the alliance provides reading-related technologies, which are combined with the corporate characteristics of the vendors themselves. The resultant achievements include launching large-scale testing events with excellent verification effectiveness, expanding the profitability of the company, and increasing the value of education industry. In addition to the collaboration described above, other achievements of the alliance include the cooperation with international schools that integrated SmartReading into school curriculum so as to develop special courses that become a unique selling point of the schools.
