教育學門規劃研究推動計畫

The main purpose of this project is to plan and promote the academic research work of the Discipline of Education of the Department of Humanities and Social Science Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2018-2020. The Discipline of Education covers very wide-ranging research areas. There are three sub-disciplines, Education, Physical Education, and Library and Information Science combined under the Discipline of Education. In each sub-discipline, several research fields are included. Therefore, it is very important for the Discipline of Education to establish consensus within and across numerous research communities to promote research development effectively and to boost the academic significance and improve practical implication and impact of research findings. For the administrative operation, the Discipline of Education is managed by the chairperson and the vice chairperson. The major responsibilities included: to establish and revise an open and unprejudiced grant proposal review process, to assist in all types of evaluation of various research project applications, to lead the review committee meetings to establish standards and guidance of the just review process, to carry out the plans for the research development of the Discipline, to attend executive meetings for chairpersons to assist accomplishing the missions of Ministry of Science and Technology. For the past three years, we have accomplished most of the missions set for this project. In addition to the routine work, lots of efforts were also put into organizing and holding conferences and workshops aimed particularly to promote the development and continues improvement of educational research. Meanwhile, the annual research presentation seminars were hold regularly for the sub-disciplines of Education, Physical Education, and Library and Information Science to achieve the goal of promoting academic research development and the cultivation of science and technology talents in the education fields.
