從SCCT滿意度模式與生涯召喚觀點探討高中體育班學生生涯決定影響因素

Purpose: This study examines the career decisions of high school student athletes and factors influencing the process by integrating the concept of calling in a social cognitive model of satisfaction model. Methods: We adopted a cross-sectional research design, and 600 high school student athletes participated in this study. In total, 505 valid questionnaires were returned. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results: The results show that our career decision model for high school student athletes has an acceptable fit with the sample data. Affect traits, calling, career self-efficacy, and outcome expectations positively influence career decisions. Conclusion: The results reveal that, affect traits, calling, career self-efficacy, outcome expectations are keys in high school student athletes’ career decisions. The findings can serve as a reference to develop career counseling strategies for high school student athletes. This study not only expands the scope of research on career development counseling for student athletes, but also increases the applicability and explanatory power of SCCT.
