Three games, Game of Life, σ-automaton, and light out, looks like similar. But they are different basically and are researched widely in the fields, computer sciences, algebra, and combinatorics. In hits research, our main purpose is to simplify the calculation of σ-game. The second, we use Fibonacci polynomial to improve running time of light-chasing. The third, we calculate the period of σ-game in m by n grids.
