Description
In this study, the music contents, teaching strategies, teacher training of music activities for young children were investigated. In addition to literature reviews, a series of focus group interviews were applied in this research. Early-Childhood music teachers, college teachers for early-childhood department, and the experts of the music educators were invited for the focus group interviews. The results of the study included :1) the review and analysis of the policies, contents, teaching strategies, and teacher training programs, 2) the discussion of the focus groups from music teachers, college professors from early-childhood department, and early-childhood teachers, 3) the focus of the quality of early-childhood music development, and 4) the broadcast of the multiple music environment for young children and the working opportunities for early-childhood music teachers. The results of the study may give many suggestions to the government, teachers, and further research in the future.
