台灣動畫網路頻道平台與戲院映演計畫

This project is to build up an online channel platform and a new form of screening in cinema, that is dedicated Taiwan animation by integrating the resources and energy of academia and industry. Independent film maker and excellent work of animation will be collected and repack as programs online and films for shown in theaters. The purpose is to create commercial values and promote new generation animation creators. It is expected to be beneficial to the development of animation industry, the enhancement of the value of intellectual property for creators, and cultural literacy of citizens. This project will try to establish a business model with induced innovation started from local environment. This is based on the change of communication technology and media in global environment, which is the trend of OTT (over-the-top) online broadcast. The established online channel platform is able to reach audience in global range and will be important database of Taiwan animations. It is also worked as a record for Taiwan animation creators. Besides, the complementary aspect of this project is based on the concept of experience economy. Through the cooperation of small cinema chains, films will be grouped and screened in theaters. Discussions between animation creators and audiences will also be held to create opportunities and experiences of communication between creators and audiences. It is our hope to build up a system of communication and commercial cooperation through the two ways of broadcasting and screening to enhance the environment for the creation of animation content and business operation. In the future, the function of the online platform and the system of screening will be kept expanding and optimizing. Through this integration platform and system, more business opportunities will be created, to contribute the difficulties of digital content creation.
